Closure of the Week

Monday 2/25/13 time 12:12 AM

Yesterday´s training was a worthy ending for a very good week at work. We had a 2,5-hour session at the stadium which included two hours working on the pitch. This time was spent both with and without the ball and included more plyometrics (jumps) and changes of direction than before. I finished the training with 30 minutes of continuous jogging. It´s a great sign that I was able to fulfill the run after a rather hard session on the pitch. When we first started to work together with Jerome in November I started running by running 10*30 seconds with a 30 second pause in between each run. Now, 16 fulfilled training weeks later I’m already able to finish 30 minutes of continuous running after a long session on the pitch. I have to admit though that last night I was as tired as I usually am after a tough game. Having a day off today was a blessing for my body.

Training week number 17 here in France will start tomorrow with a Pilates session in Nantes. torjuntarullausheitto

After your injury last year, the progress in your condition has really been impressive. That makes all of us your fans very happy:) Keep on! Sooner or later you'll reach the goal!
